The Simple Answer<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

News trading rules at Equity Edge depend on the account type. The evaluation phase of Flagship Challenges is exempt, so news trading is unrestricted there. On Legacy and Swift challenges, no trades can be opened or closed within 2 minutes before or after a high-impact news event. On Instant accounts, that window is 8 minutes before and after. Traders may hold existing positions through news events on all account types.<\/p>\n

USD news restricts all trading pairs. Non-USD news restricts only the relevant currency pairs and linked indices. If news trade profits exceed 25% of the profit share in a payout cycle, the payout is rejected and the profit share forfeited.
