Quant Tekel News Trading Restrictions<\/b><\/h3>\n

On the 2 Step Challenge account (QT Power) you are permitted to trade during major economic news events. There are no restrictions on maintaining open positions during high-impact news on both challenge and funded phase.<\/p>\n

However, on the 2 Step & 3 Step Challenge (QT Prime) ‘funded phase’ as well as Instant Account (QT Instant): you are restricted from manually opening or closing trades, adjusting Stop Loss (SL) or Take Profit (TP), or placing, editing, or canceling limit orders within 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after high-impact economic news releases.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This creates a 10-minute window during which these actions are prohibited.<\/div>\n

For example, if a news event occurs at 1:00 PM, you cannot open or close any position from 12:55 PM (5 minutes before) to 1:05 PM (5 minutes after).<\/p>\n
