The rules that decide whether an iFunds account passes, stays funded or breaches. The marketing pages and the terms take different positions on several practices, so both are set out below.

News trading is presented as allowed on both products, and the Challenge page states there are no limitations on it. Terms clause 5.11 separately prohibits opening trades when major news, macroeconomic events or corporate earnings that might affect the relevant market are scheduled.
Weekend holding is allowed on the marketing pages provided there is enough margin to absorb gaps. Terms clause 5.11 also prohibits opening a trade 2 hours or less before a market closes for 2 hours or longer. No separate overnight rule is published.
Expert advisors, including third party ones, and any trade copier are described as allowed so long as no manipulation such as latency arbitrage is involved. Terms clause 5.10 prohibits software or artificial intelligence that might give an unfair advantage, and clauses 5.12 to 5.15 limit the account to the trader personally. Auto trading is not available on Challenge accounts.
There is no consistency rule and no maximum risk per trade. Hedging is listed as an allowed feature, while terms clause 5.8 prohibits opposite positions entered at the same time across connected accounts.
The instant funding page and the Challenge page both say yes, with no limitations stated. The terms are stricter: clause 5.11 prohibits opening trades when major news, macroeconomic events or corporate earnings that might move the relevant market are scheduled. The two positions are not reconciled anywhere on the site.
The instant funding page allows it as long as there is enough margin to protect the account from off market gaps, and the Challenge lets a trade run until the fixed take profit or stop loss hits. Terms clause 5.11 separately prohibits opening a trade 2 hours or less before a market closes for 2 hours or longer, which covers the Friday close.
The marketing says any third party advisor can be used without restriction, and the help centre says any trade copier can be used without restriction, in both cases short of manipulation such as latency arbitrage. The terms prohibit software or artificial intelligence that might give an unfair advantage, and restrict the account to the trader personally, which sits against the copier position. Auto trading is not available during the Challenge.
The instant funding page lists hedging as an allowed feature and does not distinguish hedging inside one account from hedging across accounts. Terms clause 5.8 prohibits simultaneously entering opposite positions between connected accounts or accounts held with different iFunds entities.
iFunds states that funded accounts are not subject to consistency rules, and that the Challenge removes them as well. Terms clause 5.16 nevertheless prohibits opening substantially larger position sizes or a substantially different number of positions compared with your other trades.
Reaching the disqualification equity level closes the account. A forbidden trading practice can mean loss of any reward, removal of the offending trades from the record, immediate cancellation of the account, or reduced leverage across all of the trader's accounts. Where the practice spans several accounts, all of that trader's accounts may be cancelled. No second chance, reset or refund is published.
