FunderPro Rules

Swaps

FunderPro does not publish a swap rate card, a swap free account or a swap related add-on anywhere on its own site, so the overnight cost of a position cannot be confirmed from an official source.

Expert Advisors

Expert advisors are allowed, provided you own the advisor. Renting one, sharing one, or using one to exploit platform gaps or manipulate latency is prohibited.

Instant (Instant Program): third party advisors are prohibited unless you own the source code.

News Trading

News trading is free during the evaluation on all challenge types. On a funded account it is allowed only if the Swing add-on was purchased; without it, no trade may be opened within 2 minutes either side of a major release.

Instant (Instant Program): news trading is off by default and defined the same way, as opening within 2 minutes either side of a major release. It is enabled only with the Swing add-on. For the full rule, see this page.

Weekend Holding

Overnight holding is allowed on every program. Weekend holding requires the Swing add-on. Without it, every trade including crypto must be closed by 16:30 EST on Friday, and leaving any position open over the weekend fails the challenge.

Instant (Instant Program): weekend holding is allowed, but holding a position only to capture the reopening gap is banned. Full detail on this page.

Hedging

Hedging is allowed within a single account. Hedging across accounts is prohibited, including holding opposite positions on two separate accounts at the same time. On the Instant (Instant Program) the ban extends to accounts at other firms. Detail on this page.

Consistency

2 Step (Classic) has no consistency rule at any stage. 1 Step (One Phase) applies 40% and 2 Step (Pro) applies 45%, both measured on unrealised, equity based profit rather than realised profit. Because the best day is capped, each needs at least 3 trading days in practice.

Instant (Instant Program): the single most profitable day must not exceed 15% of the total profit requested. Failing the rule blocks progression or payout even when every other objective is met. Read the full rule on this page.

Copy Trading

Copy trading is allowed only between accounts you personally own, and only on your own trade ideas. Copying an account you do not own is not permitted.

Account access: VPNs and VPS hosting are allowed, but shared IP, VPS or device setups across different traders are banned. Detail on this page.

High Frequency Trading (HFT)

High frequency trading is allowed. Arbitrage, latency exploitation and feed exploitation are banned. Scalping is allowed and there is no minimum trade duration.

Martingale and grid: martingale is allowed with caution on the evaluation programs and grid is not addressed in the published rules. On the Instant (Instant Program) both are prohibited and treated as gambling behaviour, which terminates the account on a first offence.

Risk limits: funded accounts may not use more than 20% of available margin per asset class. Abrupt, unexplained changes in lot size can be treated as reckless trading. There are no refunds and no second chances after a rule breach.

FunderPro Accounts

FunderPro sells four programs: 1 Step (One Phase), 2 Step (Classic), 2 Step (Pro) and Instant (Instant Program). Select an evaluation program below for its targets and limits. The Instant (Instant Program) is covered underneath.

Seven account sizes are sold, from $5,000 to $200,000:

$5K
$10K
$25K
$50K
$100K
$150K
$200K

All funded accounts held by one client share a $200,000 combined allocation cap. No maximum number of accounts is published.

2 Step (Classic) requires 4 trading days per phase, removable with the No Minimum Trading Days add-on. 1 Step (One Phase) and 2 Step (Pro) require none, though their consistency rules need at least 3 days. No program has a time limit, and an account fails after 30 consecutive days without a closed trade.

The profit split is 80% on 1 Step (One Phase) and 2 Step (Classic), or 90% with the paid add-on. On 2 Step (Pro) it is set at checkout: 60% with daily rewards or 90% with weekly rewards. On 1 Step (One Phase) and 2 Step (Classic) the full challenge fee is credited within 7 days of the first reward; 2 Step (Pro) carries no fee credit.

The Instant (Instant Program) is funded on purchase, so it has no profit target: $100 of profit qualifies for a reward. It runs a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss that trails the balance high and fixes permanently once it reaches the initial balance. It needs 5 days at 0.5% profit each, the earliest reward comes after 7 trading days and is capped at 5% of balance, and the account does not scale.

FunderPro Drawdown

Every FunderPro account carries a daily loss limit and a maximum loss limit. Breaching either one ends the account. On the evaluation programs the maximum loss is calculated on the initial balance but breached on equity, so a floating loss can end the account before the trade is closed. The daily figure is measured from the balance at the start of the trading day, and the snapshot resets at 17:00 EST.

1 Step (One Phase)

Static 6%

Maximum loss is 6% of the initial balance and stays static for the life of the account, in evaluation and once funded. Daily loss is 3%. Example: on a $100,000 account, the account breaches if equity or balance falls below $94,000.

2 Step (Classic)

Static 10%

Maximum loss is 10% of the initial balance and stays static for the life of the account, in evaluation and once funded. Daily loss is 5%. Example: on a $100,000 account, the account breaches if equity or balance falls below $90,000.

2 Step (Pro)

Static 10%

Maximum loss is 10% of the initial balance and stays static for the life of the account, in evaluation and once funded. Daily loss is 5%. Example: on a $100,000 account, the account breaches if equity or balance falls below $90,000.

Instant (Instant Program)

Trailing 6%

Maximum loss is 6%, monitored on equity at all times. It trails the balance high and becomes permanently fixed once it reaches the initial balance. Daily loss is 3%, measured against the higher of the prior end of day equity or balance and reset at 17:00 EST. A drawdown breach terminates the account immediately.

Per Trade Limits

There is no maximum lot size on any program. Funded accounts may not use more than 20% of available margin per asset class, and the evaluation programs set no per trade risk cap.

The Instant (Instant Program) adds a 2% of balance limit per trade idea and caps margin use at 80%. Breaching the 2% rule forfeits the profit first and terminates the account on the second occurrence.

Platforms

FunderPro runs on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. Both are available on desktop, in the browser and on mobile, and the choice is made at checkout.

MT5

MetaTrader 5 offers advanced charting, multiple order types and expert advisor support. Expert advisors are allowed on FunderPro accounts provided you own the advisor.

cTrader

cTrader is known for its clean interface, fast order execution and advanced charting tools. It carries the same account rules and limits as MetaTrader 5.

Costs on Platform

Commission is $5 per lot on forex and $7 per lot on indices, metals and crypto. Energies and stocks carry no commission. FunderPro publishes this schedule for funded accounts and does not state whether it also applies during the evaluation.

Swap rates are not published in any form, and there is no swap free account or swap related add-on on either platform.

FunderPro Scaling

Scaling Plan

FunderPro scales funded accounts that came through an evaluation: 1 Step (One Phase), 2 Step (Classic) and 2 Step (Pro). The Instant (Instant Program) does not scale. All funded accounts held by one client share a $200,000 combined allocation cap, and the ceiling for a scaled account is $5,000,000.

How to Get a Scale-Up

Reach a 10% profit target in each trading month for three consecutive months and the balance is increased by 50%. The step repeats until the account reaches $5,000,000.

The trading rules do not change as the account scales. Targets, the daily loss limit, the maximum loss limit and the profit split stay at the level set by the program you bought. For a fuller breakdown, see this page.

FunderPro FAQs

Which FunderPro program should I choose?

1 Step (One Phase) passes in a single stage at a 10% target with a tighter 3% daily loss. 2 Step (Classic) splits the same 10% target across two phases at 10% then 5%, with a looser 5% daily loss and no consistency rule. 2 Step (Pro) asks 10% then 8% and pays either 60% daily or 90% weekly. The Instant (Instant Program) is funded on purchase, with a 6% trailing limit.

Is there a time limit to complete the challenge?

No. Challenge duration is unlimited on every model. The only clock is the inactivity rule, which fails an account after 30 consecutive days with no completed trade, with no refund and no renewal. 2 Step (Classic) requires 4 trading days per phase; 1 Step (One Phase) and 2 Step (Pro) require none.

How does the drawdown work?

The evaluation programs use a static maximum loss on the initial balance: 6% on 1 Step (One Phase) and 10% on 2 Step (Classic) and 2 Step (Pro). It is calculated on balance and breached on equity. Daily loss is 3% on 1 Step (One Phase) and 5% on both 2 Step programs, taken from the balance at the start of the day with the snapshot resetting at 17:00 EST. The Instant (Instant Program) instead uses a 6% trailing limit that fixes once it reaches the initial balance, with a 3% daily limit.

What is the consistency rule?

2 Step (Classic) has none in either phase. 1 Step (One Phase) applies 40% and 2 Step (Pro) applies 45%, calculated on unrealised, equity based profit rather than realised profit. The Instant (Instant Program) caps the single most profitable day at 15% of the total profit requested. Failing the rule blocks progression or payout even if every other objective is met. Full detail on this page.

How many accounts can I hold?

No maximum count is published. The terms cap the aggregate allocation across all funded accounts held by one client at $200,000.

When do I get paid, and how much of the profit is mine?

On 1 Step (One Phase) and 2 Step (Classic) the split is 80%, or 90% with the paid add-on. The first payout comes 14 days after funding, or 7 days with the First reward in 7 days add-on, and then every 14 days, with a $100 minimum. 2 Step (Pro) is chosen at checkout: 60% with rewards on demand from 1% profit, or 90% on a weekly cycle, with a minimum of 1% of the initial balance. Methods are covered on this page.

Are FunderPro accounts swap free?

FunderPro does not publish a swap policy, a swap rate card or a swap free option anywhere on its own site, so this cannot be confirmed from an official source.

FunderPro Discounts

The FunderPro discount code is available on this page. The live code sits in the banner at the top of the page and can be copied with one click. It is updated regularly to reflect the highest discount currently available, so the code shown is always the best active offer.

A purchase made through Propvator also includes a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer at payout and cashback on the purchase. In total, a trader receives a discount on the account through the code, a free account of the same size at payout, and cashback on what they spend. (T&Cs apply)

More about FunderPro

Can I try FunderPro before I buy a challenge?

Not yet. FunderPro has not published a demo login we are able to share, so there is no way to inspect its live pricing without buying an account. The FunderPro demo account page will carry the server, login and password as soon as one exists.

What do other traders say about FunderPro?

Aggregated trader feedback puts FunderPro at 3 out of 5, which reads as mixed. The FunderPro trader sentiment page breaks that down into payouts, trading conditions and customer support, and says what sits behind each score.

Where can I find every FunderPro rule explained?

Each rule has its own guide rather than one long page, so you can read only the one that affects your strategy. The FunderPro directory indexes all of them, from news trading and weekend holding to expert advisors, copy trading, drawdown and payouts.
