News trading is fully permitted. Earn2Trade states there are no restrictions on trading around economic announcements, and the marketing cards for evaluation, LiveSim and Live accounts all show news trading as allowed with no rules attached.
Overnight and weekend holding is not permitted. All positions and working orders must be closed by 15:50 CT and cannot be reopened until 17:00 CT. Livestock contracts GF, HE and LE must be closed by 13:05 CT. Grain contracts XC, XK, ZC, ZL, ZM, ZS and ZW must be closed between 07:45 and 08:30 CT and again from 13:20 CT. Holiday closures follow the CME Group calendar. No separate weekend rule is published, but the daily close out makes weekend holding impossible.
Software, artificial intelligence and ultra fast data entry techniques that could manipulate the trading environment or provide an unfair advantage are prohibited, as are strategies designed to take advantage of platform errors, spoofing, and executing an unrealistic number of contracts in a single day. Trade copiers are separately and explicitly forbidden on both evaluation and funded accounts, and the prop firms provide no leader and follower system between accounts.
Hedging between funded accounts is described as strictly forbidden and results in termination of account access. Collaborating to manipulate the trading environment, trading between connected accounts and trades that hedge or pool risk among unrelated accounts are also prohibited. The 30% consistency rule applies only to the evaluations and is not a fail in itself: it simply requires more profitable days until the best day falls below 30% of total profit.
Yes. The firm states you are allowed to trade during news events and that there are no restrictions on trading around economic announcements. Its own marketing cards for evaluation, LiveSim and Live accounts all show news trading as permitted.
No. All positions and working orders must be closed by 15:50 CT and cannot be reopened until 17:00 CT, on both evaluation and funded accounts. Livestock contracts close earlier at 13:05 CT and grain contracts have their own closed windows. The firm publishes no separate weekend rule because the daily close out already prevents it.
Earn2Trade publishes no rule that either permits or bans automated trading. Its prohibited conduct policy bans software, artificial intelligence and ultra fast data entry techniques that could manipulate the trading environment or provide an unfair advantage, along with tools that exploit technical flaws in the platform. Anything outside that wording is not addressed on the firm's own pages.
No. Trade copiers are described as strictly forbidden on both funded and evaluation accounts. Using one to pass an evaluation may cost the trader their accounts and withdrawals with no refund. The prop firms also provide no leader and follower system between accounts.
Not between accounts. Hedging between funded accounts is strictly forbidden and account access is terminated. Trading between connected accounts, trading across multiple accounts held by different parties, and trades that hedge or pool risk among unrelated accounts are all listed as prohibited conduct. The firm does not publish a rule on hedging inside a single account.
Reaching the daily loss limit or the minimum account balance fails the evaluation immediately and suspends further trading, even if the position is still open. Exceeding the Progression Ladder contract limit is also a hard fail. Prohibited conduct is handled separately and can bring a warning, deletion of that day's trading data, an account reset or permanent closure.
