Rules
Breaches split into hard rules, which close the account, and soft rules, which close only the offending trade. 2 Step (Classic) carries a 3% Symbol Loss Limit as a hard rule, measured against the balance at 16:59 EST the previous day, and a breach terminates the account immediately. The percentage for the other programs is not published.
There is no published maximum risk per trade and no maximum lot size, but margin use above 50% to 75%, depending on account size, triggers a risk review. Stop losses are not required. Account management and evaluation passing services are prohibited, the buyer must be the person trading the account, and sharing credentials or using another person's payment method is banned.
All three programs are swap free. Since February 2026 swap free is applied automatically at account creation on Instant (Instant Funding), 1 Step (Express) and 2 Step (Classic), so a position held overnight carries no swap or rollover fee. It is included free rather than sold as an add-on, and no request is needed.
EAs, algos and bots are allowed on every program, including commercially available ones, and there is no requirement for the strategy to be your own. An EA may be submitted to the firm for approval. Arbitrage, grid trading and tick scalping are prohibited as abuse of the simulated live environment, and an EA may not be used to copy trade or hedge across accounts. No technical support is given for third party apps. Martingale is not addressed on the firm's own pages.
News trading is allowed on all three programs, subject to the risk review policy. The firm asks for modest margin use over a time frame appropriate to the volatility, and gives as unacceptable conduct a high impact news trade at 90% margin utilisation held for 10 seconds. Full detail on this page.
Overnight and weekend holding is allowed on 1 Step (Express) and 2 Step (Classic), with no automatic Friday close. Instant (Instant Funding) does not allow it: all trades must be closed by 4.30pm EST on Friday. For the full rule, see this page.
Hedging within a single account is allowed, so opposing positions on one account are permitted at both the evaluation and funded stages. Hedging across two or more accounts is prohibited. Detail on this page.
A consistency rule applies to 2 Step (Classic) only. In the challenge stages no single day's net profit may exceed 35% of the total step profit, and on the funded stage no single day may exceed 50% of the profit in the current payout period. It counts closed positions only. A breach does not close the account; the step cannot be passed, or the payout requested, until the profit requirement is met. 1 Step (Express) and Instant (Instant Funding) have no consistency rule. Read the full rule on this page.
Funded Trading Plus publishes two contradicting answers on two live help pages. One states copy trading is now permitted provided it is between your own accounts only. The other states no copy trading of any kind is permitted across accounts, and bans identical positions on the same market in the same direction on more than one account. Copying another trader, or letting another trader copy you, is prohibited under both, so confirm the rule with support before running a copier. Detail on this page.
High frequency trading, latency arbitrage and tick scalping are not allowed on any program, and grid trading is prohibited. There is no minimum trade duration, but duration is weighed in the risk review.

Instant (Instant Funding) is sold at $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K. 1 Step (Express) runs $12.5K, $25K, $50K, $100K and $200K. 2 Step (Classic) runs $25K, $50K, $100K and $200K.
Instant (Instant Funding) has no profit target, and the firm states no profit target is required to keep the account eligible. 1 Step (Express) passes in one stage at 10%. 2 Step (Classic) is 7% in Step 1 and 7% in Step 2.
No program has a minimum trading day requirement and none has a time limit. An account expires after 30 days without a position both opened and closed, at the evaluation and funded stages alike.
Challenge accounts share a $200,000 combined allocation cap. Funded accounts are capped at 2 on 1 Step (Express) and 1 on 2 Step (Classic), with no hard limit on Instant (Instant Funding). The terms instead state you must not create more than one account without prior written consent, so the help centre and the terms do not agree.
Every Funded Trading Plus account carries two limits: a daily loss limit and a maximum loss limit. Breaching either one ends the account.
The daily loss limit is 4% on 1 Step (Express) and 2 Step (Classic), and 6% on Instant (Instant Funding). The help centre measures it against the higher of the previous day's balance or equity, resetting at 16:59 EST on the two evaluation programs and 17:00 EST on Instant (Instant Funding), while the product pages describe the same limit as balance based. The firm therefore publishes two descriptions of the measurement.
Example: on a $100,000 account, the maximum loss is $6,000. The limit trails the highest closed balance, the breach is tested on equity, and it stops trailing and becomes fixed once it reaches the starting balance. There is no profit target on this program.
Example: on a $100,000 account, the maximum loss is $6,000. The limit trails the highest closed balance, the breach is tested on equity, and it stops trailing and becomes fixed once it reaches the starting balance.
Example: on a $100,000 account, the account breaches if the balance or equity falls below $92,000. The 8% is fixed on the initial balance for the life of the account and does not move as the account grows. The Make Max Drawdown 9% add-on raises it to 9% and costs 20% on top of the account fee.
Separate from both limits, 2 Step (Classic) carries a 3% Symbol Loss Limit, measured against the balance at 16:59 EST the previous day. Breaching it terminates the account. The percentage for the other two programs is not published.
Funded Trading Plus runs four platforms: MetaTrader 5, DXtrade, Match Trader and cTrader. The platform is chosen at checkout.
MetaTrader 5 offers advanced charting, multiple order types and Expert Advisor support. Funded Trading Plus states MetaTrader 5 is not available in the US.
DXtrade is a browser based platform, so it needs no download. It is one of the four options at checkout.
Match Trader is a web and mobile platform with built-in charting and one-click execution.
cTrader covers charting, order management and cBot automation. Funded Trading Plus states cTrader is not available in the US.
With MetaTrader 5 and cTrader closed to US traders, that leaves DXtrade and Match Trader on a US account.
Spreads and per lot commission are not published for any platform. The firm's fees article describes trading costs as minimal and competitive and directs traders to log into its shared demo accounts to read the live figures.
Funded Trading Plus scales funded accounts on request once the account reaches the profit figure on its program's scaling table. On Instant (Instant Funding) and 1 Step (Express) the balance doubles at each 10% of profit, starting from $12,500. On 2 Step (Classic) each level needs 20% profit, one payout taken and two months on the account.
The firm publishes two ceilings. The help centre caps scaling at $2,500,000, which is also the figure given for 2 Step (Classic), while the figures for Instant (Instant Funding) and 1 Step (Express) run to $5,000,000 and the checkout add-on is named Scaling Plan to $5M+. That add-on costs 15% on top of the account fee, on Instant (Instant Funding) and 1 Step (Express) only.
Scaling is requested rather than applied automatically. The request is made once the account reaches the profit figure for its current level, and every request is subject to the firm's risk review policy. For a fuller breakdown, see this page.
1 Step (Express) passes in a single stage at a 10% target, with 4% daily and 6% trailing maximum loss. 2 Step (Classic) splits 7% and 7% across two stages, with a static 8% maximum loss and a consistency rule. Instant (Instant Funding) funds on purchase with no profit target, a 6% trailing limit and no weekend holding.
No. Evaluations are unlimited in time and no minimum trading days are required. The only clock is the inactivity rule, which expires an account after 30 days with no position both opened and closed.
On Instant (Instant Funding) and 1 Step (Express), from day 1 once the account is in profit, with a $50 minimum, then every 7 days, or every 3 days with the paid add-on. On 2 Step (Classic), 10 days after account creation with the 50% consistency rule met, then every 10 days, with a minimum of 1% of the initial account balance. Methods are covered on this page.
Yes. The split starts at 80% and rises to 90% after 20% profit on the funded stage, or immediately by buying the add-on, which costs 15% on top of the account fee on Instant (Instant Funding) and 1 Step (Express). On 2 Step (Classic) the add-on takes it to 85% for 15%. The homepage advertises up to 100% but does not explain how that is reached.
It applies to 2 Step (Classic) only. In the challenge stages no single day's net profit may exceed 35% of the total step profit, and on the funded stage no single day may exceed 50% of the profit in the current payout period. It counts closed positions only, and a breach does not close the account: the step cannot be passed, or the payout requested, until the profit requirement is met.
The help centre caps challenge accounts at $200,000 of combined allocation, and allows 2 funded accounts on 1 Step (Express), 1 on 2 Step (Classic) and no hard limit on Instant (Instant Funding). The terms state you must not create more than one account without prior written consent, so the two sources do not agree.
Funded Trading Plus does not publish a fee refund on passing. Its payout methods article lists crypto and Rise as withdrawal methods and notes refunds may be made to the original payment card at the company's discretion. Per method fees and minimums are not published.
The Funded Trading Plus discount code is available on this page. The live code sits in the banner at the top of the page and can be copied with one click. It is updated regularly to reflect the highest discount currently available, so the code shown is always the best active offer.
A purchase made through Propvator also includes a Buy One, Get One (BOGO) offer at payout and cashback on the purchase. In total, a trader receives a discount on the account through the code, a free account of the same size at payout, and cashback on what they spend. (T&Cs apply)
Yes. Funded Trading Plus publishes a read only demo login, so you can open Match Trader and DXtrade and watch its real spreads, commissions and swaps before paying for anything. The server, login and password are on the Funded Trading Plus demo account page.
Aggregated trader feedback puts Funded Trading Plus at 4 out of 5, which reads as positive. The Funded Trading Plus trader sentiment page breaks that down into payouts, trading conditions and customer support, and says what sits behind each score.
Each rule has its own guide rather than one long page, so you can read only the one that affects your strategy. The Funded Trading Plus directory indexes all of them, from news trading and weekend holding to expert advisors, copy trading, drawdown and payouts.
