Klein Funding Rules

These are the rules that decide whether a Klein Funding evaluation passes and whether a funded account stays open. Klein Funding trades crypto only, on Bybit and on CLEO, its own browser platform. News trading, swing trading and weekend holding are permitted. Bots, copy trading and hedging between accounts are not.

To get the best Klein Funding discount, traders can use the code PROPVATOR at checkout. However, for instant accounts offered by Klein Funding, traders should use the code PROPVATOR2. Both codes are available through Propvator.com and provide the highest available discounts at the time of purchase.

Klein Funding Crypto Prop Firm - Accepted Trading Styles

Swaps with Klein Funding

Not published. Klein Funding has no swap page, no overnight financing page and no swap free product. Positions may be held overnight and over the weekend on every account type.

The core product is USDT perpetuals, where a funding fee is exchanged between longs and shorts on a fixed schedule. Klein Funding does not state who bears that fee, at what rate, or on what schedule. It is the largest undisclosed cost on the product.

Expert Advisors with Klein Funding

Expert advisors, bots, scripts and algorithms are not permitted. Klein Funding states that all trades must be initiated and managed manually and that accounts using automated trading will be terminated.

Analysis and charting tools, manually placed stop loss and take profit orders, and alerts that inform a manual decision remain allowed.

News Trading with Klein Funding

News trading is permitted. The general rules page lists it as an accepted activity alongside manual trading, swing trading, day trading, scalping and holding positions over weekends.

There is no blackout window and no separate news rule published anywhere on the site.

Weekend Holding with Klein Funding

Allowed on every account type and every instrument. Klein Funding states the cryptocurrency market operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and that it fully supports swing trading. There is no daily close out.

On Bybit accounts every trade must stay open for at least 50 seconds. Closing a trade sooner is listed as prohibited conduct. That rule does not apply to CLEO.

Hedging with Klein Funding

Hedging between accounts is not permitted. Klein Funding publishes no rule on hedging within a single account.

Group trading and coordinated identical trades between traders are treated the same way and end every account involved.

Consistency with Klein Funding

Klein Funding calls its consistency rule the stability score. No single trading day's profit may equal or exceed 30% of total profits on 1 phase plans, or 45% on 2 phase plans, measured against the profit target while in evaluation.

Breaking it does not fail the account. The trader keeps trading until the best day falls below the threshold. The firm states CLEO has no stability rule, and the pricing table shows no stability requirement on Cleo Standard, Cleo Flex or Instant Pro.

Copy Trading with Klein Funding

Copy trading is prohibited outright. Klein Funding states this applies even between accounts the same trader owns.

Account sharing, or running accounts from the same household, device, IP address or VPS, terminates every account involved.

HFT with Klein Funding

Tick scalping, latency and arbitrage strategies, front running the price feed and spamming the order book are all prohibited, as is exploiting the demo environment.

Normal scalping backed by market analysis is permitted, subject to the 50 second minimum trade duration on Bybit accounts.

Breaches with Klein Funding

Exceeding the daily or overall loss limit brings an email notification and deactivation of the account. What happens to accrued profit on a breach is not published.

Some platform actions are immediate breaches: trading USDC instead of USDT, trading spot, futures, options or margin markets, borrowing USDT balance to trade other markets, and requesting demo funds from Bybit after the API is connected, which the firm states cannot be reversed. Deleting or changing the Bybit API key closes the account immediately.

Klein Funding Accounts

Klein Funding sells five models across two venues: 1 Step (Bybit Standard), 1 Step (Cleo Standard), 1 Step (Cleo Flex), 2 Step (Bybit Standard) and Instant (Instant Pro).

Account Sizes

The pricing table runs $5,000 to $100,000 on the four evaluation plans, and $1,250 to $50,000 on Instant (Instant Pro). The homepage also lists $200,000 and advertises funding up to $300,000, and the Bybit page says $1,250 to $200,000, so the firm publishes several different ceilings.

The figures above are the pricing table figures. Klein Funding's other pages publish wider ranges: 6% to 10% on the Bybit page and 10% to 14% on the Cleo page. Instant (Instant Pro) is funded on purchase and opens payouts at 4% profit, although the pricing table lists its target as 6%.

Profit split is 70% on every plan in the pricing table. The product pages advertise up to 90% and the FAQ says 40% to 100%.

Note: there is no time limit on any evaluation and no minimum trading days on the four evaluation plans. Instant (Instant Pro) requires 3 separate trading days, each with at least 0.5% profit, before the first payout. Please refer to the top of this page for a complete list of accounts and a detailed comparison.

Klein Funding Drawdown

Every Klein Funding account carries two limits: a daily loss limit and a maximum overall loss. Breaching either brings an email notification and deactivation of the account.

Evaluation Accounts Drawdown Explained

Static Drawdown:

The maximum loss is static. It is a fixed percentage of the initial account balance, it never trails, and it is measured on equity, so a floating loss that touches the level ends the account.

Maximum Loss by Plan:

6% on 1 Step (Bybit Standard), 2 Step (Bybit Standard), 1 Step (Cleo Standard) and Instant (Instant Pro). 3% on 1 Step (Cleo Flex).

Daily Drawdown Calculation:

The daily loss limit is 3% on every plan in the pricing table. It is calculated from the starting balance at 12:05 AM UTC, does not move during the day, and resets at the next daily anchor. Klein Funding describes it elsewhere as half of the maximum loss, which holds on the 6% plans but not on 1 Step (Cleo Flex), where the pricing table shows 3% for both.

Instant Pro Payout Requirements

Minimum Trading Days:

3 separate trading days, each with at least 0.5% profit on the starting balance. The Bybit product page instead says 3 to 4 days.

Minimum Withdrawal Threshold:

A payout can be requested once the 3 trading days are complete and total profit reaches 4% of the starting balance. The pricing table lists the Instant (Instant Pro) target as 6%.

Other Documented Drawdown Types

Klein Funding documents two further drawdown mechanisms in its FAQ. Neither is mapped to any purchasable plan on the pricing table.

Smart Drawdown:

Starts at 6% and locks at 3% of the original balance once the account is 3% in profit. Once locked it does not move.

Trailing Drawdown:

Fixed at 8% of the starting balance and follows the high water mark.

Platforms

Klein Funding runs on two platforms: Bybit and CLEO, its own browser platform. There is no MetaTrader, cTrader or TradingView option.

Bybit

Bybit accounts are traded through a Bybit sub-account demo trading API key connected to the Klein Funding dashboard. Available on web, Android and iOS.

USDT perpetuals only. Klein Funding states 700 or more pairs and coins are available on the platform, while its marketing elsewhere says 750 or more pairs including spot markets. Trading spot, futures, options or margin markets is an immediate breach, so the spot claim contradicts the platform rules.

Spreads are stated as 0. Commission follows Bybit's own schedule: a 0.055% taker fee and a 0.02% maker fee, applied as order quantity times executed price times the fee rate. Klein Funding's worked example is 10 BTC at $50,000, giving a 275 USDT taker fee or a 100 USDT maker fee.

The API key lasts 90 days. Three reminder emails start 10 days before expiry, and an account not renewed within 10 days of the first reminder becomes restricted and cannot be reactivated. Deleting or changing the key closes the account immediately.

CLEO

CLEO is Klein Funding's own platform, licensed from CLFNCE OU and priced off public Binance spot and perpetuals data. It is web only, with no desktop or mobile app.

Leverage is 1:5 on BTC and ETH and 1:2 on all other assets, although the pricing table shows a single 1:5 figure for both Cleo plans. Bybit accounts run up to 1:100 on most tradeable coins, and the how-it-works page publishes a single 1:100 figure for the whole firm, which matches neither Cleo source.

The full tradeable instrument list for CLEO is not published beyond BTC and ETH being singled out for higher leverage, and no spread or commission figures are published for the platform. The 50 second minimum trade duration that applies on Bybit accounts does not apply on CLEO.

Klein Funding Scaling

Scaling is requested by the trader, not granted automatically. Once the account is 10% in profit on the account balance a scale request can be made.

The account size doubles and the trader forfeits 50% of the profit made to that point. On a $10,000 account, a $1,000 profit becomes a $20,000 account with $500 given up.

The Ceiling

The maximum allocation per trader is $300,000. The Bybit product page instead advertises scaling up to $2,000,000, and the homepage advertises funding up to $300,000. Klein Funding does not reconcile the two figures.

Account Limits

Several funded accounts may run at the same time, and the $300,000 cap applies to the aggregate allocation per trader. Only one evaluation account may be under verification at a time, and running more than one concurrently is a breach.

There is no maximum number of trading days on a funded account, and no waiting period between scale requests is published.

Klein Funding FAQ

What account sizes does Klein Funding offer?

The pricing table runs $5,000, $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $100,000 on the four evaluation plans, and $1,250, $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $25,000 and $50,000 on Instant (Instant Pro). The homepage also lists $200,000 and advertises funding up to $300,000, and the Bybit page says $1,250 to $200,000, so the firm publishes several different ceilings.

Is there a time limit, and how many trading days do I need?

No time limit. Klein Funding publishes no deadline on the evaluation stage and no maximum number of days to trade on a funded account. There are no minimum trading days on the four evaluation plans. Instant (Instant Pro) requires 3 separate trading days, each with at least 0.5% profit, before a payout can be requested, alongside 4% total profit. The Bybit product page instead says 3 to 4 days. The only inactivity rule is the 90 day Bybit API expiry.

How does the drawdown work?

The maximum loss is static, calculated from the initial account balance and measured on equity, so it does not trail with profit. It is 6% on every plan except 1 Step (Cleo Flex), which is 3%. The daily loss is 3%, calculated from the starting balance at 12:05 AM UTC and fixed until the next reset. Two other mechanisms appear in the FAQ, a Smart Drawdown that locks at 3% once the account is 3% up and an 8% Trailing Drawdown that follows the high water mark, but neither is tied to a plan on the pricing table.

What leverage do I get, and what can I trade?

Up to 1:100 on most tradeable coins on Bybit accounts, which trade USDT perpetuals only. On CLEO accounts it is 1:5 for BTC and ETH and 1:2 for all other assets, although the pricing table lists a flat 1:5 for both Cleo plans, and the how-it-works page publishes a single 1:100 figure for the whole firm. Klein Funding states 700 or more pairs and coins are available, while other pages say 750 or more including spot markets. Spot, futures, options and margin markets are an immediate breach.

Can I use bots or a trade copier?

No. Automated trading systems, expert advisors and similar trading robots are strictly prohibited. All trades must be initiated and managed manually, and accounts using automation will be terminated. Copy trading is prohibited too, including between accounts you own yourself. Charting and analysis tools, manual stop loss and take profit orders and alerts are still allowed.

What is the consistency rule?

It is called the stability score. No single trading day's profit may equal or exceed 30% of total profits on 1 phase plans, or 45% on 2 phase plans, measured against the profit target while in evaluation. Breaking it does not fail the account: the trader keeps trading until the best day falls below the threshold. Klein Funding states CLEO has no stability rule, and the pricing table shows no stability requirement on Cleo Standard, Cleo Flex or Instant Pro.

When do I get paid, and how much of the profit is mine?

Profit split is 70% on every plan in the pricing table, though the product pages advertise up to 90% and the FAQ says 40% to 100%. Payouts are requested on demand, subject to the stability score. The withdrawal FAQ says they take 4 to 24 hours and are usually handled within 4 hours, while the how-it-works page says 4 to 12 hours. CLEO withdrawals are described as open every day and every hour, and the Bybit page advertises same day USDT and USDC payouts. Methods are direct bank transfer in EUR or USD, Wise, or a crypto wallet in USDT on ERC20, USDT on TRC20, Bitcoin or Ethereum. No withdrawal fee and no minimum withdrawal amount is published.

Is the challenge fee refunded?

Klein Funding publishes two opposite answers. Its refund policy states that all purchases are final, that it does not offer refunds once a challenge has started and that there are no refunds for evaluation fees, and the terms of use repeat that all purchases are final and non refundable. The Bybit product page instead advertises challenge fees refundable up to 125% on payout, and the how-it-works page lists the refund policy as no to 125%. The firm does not reconcile the two.

More about Klein Funding

Can I try Klein Funding before I buy a challenge?

Not yet. Klein Funding has not published a demo login we are able to share, so there is no way to inspect its live pricing without buying an account. The Klein Funding demo account page will carry the server, login and password as soon as one exists.

What do other traders say about Klein Funding?

Every review on Propvator is written by someone who showed us a receipt first, so what you read on the Klein Funding reviews page comes from traders who actually bought an account rather than from anyone who happened to have an opinion.

Where can I find every Klein Funding rule explained?

Each rule has its own guide rather than one long page, so you can read only the one that affects your strategy. The Klein Funding directory indexes all of them, from news trading and weekend holding to expert advisors, copy trading, drawdown and payouts.
