PipFarm Rules

Swaps

Yes, swap fees apply. If you hold a position past the end of the trading day, rollover fees (swaps) are charged automatically by the platform at 22:00 GMT, or 21:00 GMT during US daylight savings.

Triple Swap: Triple swap is applied on Wednesdays for FX pairs and metals, and on Fridays for indices and energy products.

Swap Free Add On: The Swap Free Add On replaces variable overnight swap charges with a fixed daily admin fee per position, applied only after a 3 day grace period. It costs 10% of your challenge fee and must be selected at checkout. It cannot be added to an existing account after purchase.

Expert Advisors (EAs)

EAs are allowed on all challenge and funded accounts. You are free to use expert advisors, trading bots, algorithmic strategies, and third party automation tools to execute your trades.

Own Strategy Only: You must use bots built around your own trading strategy. Purchasing or downloading ready made bots from marketplaces such as cTrader cBot marketplaces, MQL5 Market, or any third party vendor and running them on your PipFarm account is not permitted.

Important: Your automated strategy must reflect your own trading logic and decision making. Using someone else's bot or strategy is treated the same as copying another trader and will result in account termination.

News Trading

News trading is fully allowed at PipFarm across all account types and phases. There are no restricted windows, no profit caps, and no penalties for trading around any economic release.

Repeatedly placing maximum size positions just before major economic events may be considered speculative behaviour and flagged during account reviews. For full details on PipFarm's news trading rule, check out this page.

Weekend Holding

Holding trades overnight and through weekends is allowed on both Challenge and Simulated Funded Accounts. You are free to hold positions overnight, hold positions over the weekend, and trade cryptocurrencies at the weekend when traditional markets are closed.

Weekend Gaps: Holding overnight and over weekends comes with additional risks. Price gaps can occur when markets reopen, and a separate Gap Trading Policy applies to manage these situations.

Important: Holding trades overnight or over the weekend will incur swap fees. For the full weekend holding rule, see this page.

Hedging

Hedging is permitted within a single account. You can hedge the same instrument or correlated instruments within one account to manage risk or capture multiple opportunities.

Note: Hedging the same or correlated instruments across two or more accounts is strictly prohibited. This is considered toxic trading behaviour and will result in immediate and permanent disqualification from all accounts involved.

Note: Hedging with another PipFarm user or with accounts on other prop firms is not allowed. Full detail on this page.

Consistency

Consistency depends on which mode you buy. Classic and Endurance have no consistency requirement during the challenge, and a 50% best day rule once funded. Consistency mode applies a 35% score from the start: no single day may account for more than 35% of your total profit.

Instant accounts use a 25% score, measured across the profit in each payout period. Read the full rule on this page.

Copy Trading

Copy trading is allowed between your own PipFarm accounts. You can run the same strategy across several of your accounts and use a copier to do it.

Note: Copying another trader, subscribing to a signal service, or mirroring an account you do not own is not permitted and is grounds for termination. Detail on this page.

High Frequency Trading (HFT)

High Frequency Trading (HFT), latency arbitrage bots, and similar strategies are strictly prohibited on PipFarm.

These strategies are designed to execute dozens or hundreds of trades in a short period through automation to capitalise on small price movements, and do not reflect realistic conditions in live markets. Accounts found to be using HFT strategies may have profits removed and face account termination.

PipFarm Accounts

PipFarm offers 6 account sizes, including:

Account Sizes

Traders can choose from the following account sizes:

$5K
$10K
$20K
$50K
$100K
$150K

Challenge Formats

Every size is sold in three formats: one step trailing, one step static and two step. The format is chosen at checkout and cannot be changed later. The figures below are for Classic mode.

The 1-Step Challenge:

Alongside the two step Classic figures above, Endurance targets 8% then 5% and Consistency targets 6% then 6%, both with an 8% static maximum loss. One step is 12% on every mode, with a 9% trailing or 6% static maximum loss. Every limit gains one percentage point at Rank 2 and above, and the daily limit rises to 4% at Rank 4.

Three Instant accounts are also sold, separated by how the drawdown trails: end of day, live equity, or payout to payout. They have no profit target and no daily loss limit, and they do not scale.

PipFarm also enforces a maximum loss per trade idea, capped at 2%. New accounts of $50K and above opened from 13 June 2026 use 1% instead.

A trade idea is defined by positions opened or closed within 2 minutes of each other on the same instrument and direction, or those floating at the same time on the same instrument and direction.

PipFarm Drawdown

Every PipFarm account carries two limits: a daily loss limit and an overall loss limit. Breaching either one ends the account.

The daily loss limit is 3%, and rises to 4% at Rank 4 and above. It is measured against the higher of your previous end of day balance or equity, and the trading day resets at 22:00 GMT, or 21:00 GMT during US daylight savings.

The overall loss limit depends on the format you buy. Each figure below gains one percentage point at Rank 2 and above.

Maximum Loss by Format

● 1-Step Trailing: 9%, following your closed balance

● 1-Step Static: 6% of your starting balance

● 2-Step Classic: 9% static

● 2-Step Endurance: 8% static

● 2-Step Consistency: 8% static

● Instant EOD Trailing: 4% below your end of day high

● Instant Equity Trailing: 6% on live equity

● Instant Payout Trailing: 5%, resetting after each payout

How is the Trailing Limit Calculated?

On the one step trailing format, the limit follows a high watermark of your closed balance. Open positions and intraday equity swings do not move it; it only steps up when a winning trade closes. The formula PipFarm publishes is high watermark minus the applied percentage of that high watermark.

Once funded, a withdrawal is deducted from the balance high watermark, so taking a payout lowers the trailing level by the same amount.

How is the Static Limit Calculated?

The static limit is a fixed percentage of your starting balance and never moves for the life of the account. It is breached if either your balance or your equity falls below that level at any point, so a floating loss can end the account before the trade is closed.

Separate from both limits, a 2% maximum loss per trade idea applies. New accounts of $50K and above opened from 13 June 2026 use a 1% limit instead.

Platforms

PipFarm runs entirely on cTrader. There is no MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or DXtrade option on any account type.

cTrader is available as a desktop app for Windows and Mac, in the browser, and on iOS and Android. Charting, order management, account statistics and live spreads all sit inside the platform.

Automation runs through cTrader Automate, so strategies are built as cBots rather than MQL Expert Advisors. cTrader Plugins, the cTrader Open API and FIX access are also supported.

Spreads, commissions and swap rates are not published as a fixed list. To see them, open a demo cTrader account and read them off the platform.

PipFarm Scaling

Scaling is available on simulated funded accounts that came through a challenge. Instant accounts do not scale.

You advance a level by taking four payouts or by reaching a 12% scaling target, whichever comes first. There is no waiting period between levels, so you can scale as soon as you hit the target. When you do, open positions are closed and you are issued a new account at the higher balance.

How Much You Gain

The increase is a percentage of your initial balance, set by your rank in the Experience Program: 10% at Ranks 0 and 1, 20% at Rank 2, 30% at Rank 3, 40% at Rank 4, 50% at Rank 5 and 60% at Rank 6. Each new balance is the previous balance plus that percentage of the initial balance.

An account can scale up to eight times. PipFarm publishes the ceiling as $1,740,000, reached from $300,000 of initial funding at the top rank. One newer help centre page states $1,750,000 instead, which does not match the published formula.

Two Programs

Simple Scaling is the current program. It covers Classic mode and every account funded on or after 9 April 2026. Smart Scaling is the legacy program and still applies to Endurance and Consistency accounts funded before that date.

Capital gained through scaling sits outside the standard allocation caps of five funded accounts and $300,000 combined. For a fuller breakdown, see this page.

PipFarm FAQ

Which challenge mode should I pick?

Classic is the most forgiving and only asks for three trading days per stage. Endurance rewards steady profitable days, requiring three of them at 0.5% each. Consistency drops the minimum days entirely but caps your best day at 35% of total profit. The mode is chosen at checkout and cannot be changed afterwards.

How long do I have to pass?

Each stage runs for 90 days as standard, extendable to 180 or 360 days with a paid add-on selected at checkout. On funded accounts the clock resets every time you take a payout. Separately, you must close at least one trade every 28 days to keep the account active.

Can I use bots or a trade copier?

Yes, on challenge and funded accounts, provided the strategy is your own. Ready made bots bought or downloaded from marketplaces are not permitted and are treated the same as copying another trader. Copiers may only be used between your own accounts. Full detail is on this page.

How much can I be funded for?

Up to five funded accounts totalling $300,000, and separately up to three Instant accounts totalling $300,000. The two pools are independent. There is no limit on how many challenges you can run at once, and capital gained through scaling does not count against these caps.

When do I get paid, and how much of the profit is mine?

The split starts at 70% and rises to 99% at Rank 6, driven by experience points rather than payment. Challenge funded accounts pay every 30 days, or 14 or 7 with an add-on; Instant accounts pay every 7 days. Minimum payout is 3% of balance on Classic, 2% on Endurance and 1% on Consistency. Methods are covered on this page.

Is news trading restricted?

No. There is no restricted window before or after a release, and no profit cap tied to news. PipFarm's own FAQ page still mentions a five minute window, which the help centre has since replaced. Repeatedly placing maximum size positions immediately before major releases can still be flagged in an account review.

More about PipFarm

Can I try PipFarm before I buy a challenge?

Not yet. PipFarm has not published a demo login we are able to share, so there is no way to inspect its live pricing without buying an account. The PipFarm demo account page will carry the server, login and password as soon as one exists.

What do other traders say about PipFarm?

Aggregated trader feedback puts PipFarm at 3 out of 5, which reads as mixed. The PipFarm trader sentiment page breaks that down into payouts, trading conditions and customer support, and says what sits behind each score.

Where can I find every PipFarm rule explained?

Each rule has its own guide rather than one long page, so you can read only the one that affects your strategy. The PipFarm directory indexes all of them, from news trading and weekend holding to expert advisors, copy trading, drawdown and payouts.
